U.S. Consular Officer to discuss student visas

Studies in the United States and visa requirements are subjects of Webchat

Washington - Study in the United States and the student visa process are the subject of a forthcoming USINFO Webchat. On October 30, at 4 p.m. Central European Time (1400 GMT) join the head of the consular section at the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade, Serbia, Carolyn Gorman, for a talk on the educational visa process and other issues of interest to those who want to study in the United States.

Carolyn Gorman has been an officer in the Foreign Service with the U.S. Department of State since 1987. In addition to holding positions in Washington, she has served at U.S. embassies and consulates in Mexico City; Frankfurt, Germany; Guatemala City, Guatemala; Vienna, Austria; and Zagreb, Croatia.
