 Registration and Travel Information

The Embassy urges all American citizens, even those visiting Zimbabwe for a short time, to register with the Embassy's Consular Section.  In the event of an emergency, the Embassy will provide information and other critical assistance to American citizens.
 
Registration is the only way to guarantee that the Embassy is aware of your presence in the country and is able to contact you and assist you in such circumstances.  Americans who provide an email address when they register will receive the Consular Warden Messages by email.

How to Register

Americans may register online at
https://travelregistration.state.gov.  If you have already registered online, please ensure your registration and travel plans are up to date.  If you do not receive a welcome message from our mailing service within a week of registration, please email us directly at consularharare@state.gov so we can manually add your email address.

Americans can register in person at the American Embassy during routine American Citizen Services hours.
