Non-Immigrant Visas

Journalists

Media representatives who are traveling to the U.S. on behalf of a newspaper, magazine or radio or television station need to apply for a journalist visa. An applicant is classifiable as a non-immigrant information media representative if he/she is a representative of a foreign press, radio, film or other information medium having its home office in a foreign country, the government of which grants reciprocity for similar privileges to representatives of such a medium having home offices in the United States.
