Welcome to the Consular Section in
The American Citizen Services Unit (ACS) is based at the U.S. Embassy in Harare, and provides a range of services to Americans residing in or traveling through Zimbabwe. These services include:
American Citizens who need emergency services are welcome during normal U.S. Embassy hours, which are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In case of emergency after hours, please call the Embassy at: 04-250-593.
When you arrive at the Embassy, please inform the Embassy guards that you are an American citizen. You will then be guided through security screening to the Consular Section.
